The faces behind Grab The ‘Lish
Having a life long passion and love for animals has led us to a career with animal. We have been caring for animals from a young age and truly feel most comfortable with them.
When in our care we treat every animal as we do our own.
Meet Our Staff
Hello, I’m Elisha the girl behind the name, having been working with animals for over 2 years ago, I started dog walking after finding it hard to find a dog walker to walk my fur babies while I worked long hours as a TA. I have a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and have grown up with different dog breeds this has given me understanding of working and large breeds. I have a passion for rescue and rehabilitation work. I own a lovely Alaskan Malamute cross called Archie who is my world. I recently lost my other Alaskan Malamute Miya, a female Malamute who I fostered and rehabilitate. I have trained in agility for over 2 years and find building a relationship with my dog and working towards a goal very satisfying. I have had a dream to do this fulltime and now have someone just as animal crazy as me to join me.
Happily, branded crazy dog lady. At present she owns a French bulldog named Bruce. Yasmin has experience with rescue dogs and works closely with a beautiful Dogue de Bordeaux. Yasmin has always wanted to work with animals for a living and after doing some traveling has decided to join me in dog walking, she loves walking her own dog and making new doggy friends so was very happy when I approached her with and offer to come on board with Grab The ‘Lish.
The dog that sparked the idea. Archie is my Alaskan Malamute, Husky, German Shepard, Akita cross. The softest dog you with very meet. Archie is a big baby and loves to meet new people and animal.
Bruce is a French bulldog, sadly Bruce was born into a puppy farm which has caused him some trauma. Yasmin has helped Bruce improve and he now enjoys playing with his dog friends.
